Miracles' Square

The Piazza dei Miracoli as it is popularly called, along with the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is the universal symbol. The first stone was laid in 1064 and the Baptistery, Cathedral, Bell Tower, the monumental cemetery and the old hospital than the original plan of the entire complex, or the representation of the circle of human life. This beauty has meant that in 1987 the square was reported by UNESCO as a heritage of humanity. In addition to the monuments you can visit the Museum of Sinopia and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.
